July 18, 2026 from 3 - 4 PM
Please wear comfortable shoes as this will be a walking tour. Close toed shoes required.
Take a behind the scenes look at the College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital, which handles more than 34,000 animal visits each year and offers a wide range of specialty services. Board-certified clinicians bring years of experience to each case, and have a vast and highly specialized knowledge base from which to draw answers. That, combined with state-of-the-art equipment, allows the hospital to offer advanced treatment options unavailable elsewhere in the state. As part of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, providing exceptional animal care while training the next generation of veterinarians is the hallmark of the program. During the tour, alumni will also learn about the hospital’s advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities, including technologies such as a C-Arm imaging system, CT scanner, and MRI that help clinicians diagnose complex conditions with precision and guide treatment plans. Guests will also see spaces dedicated to rehabilitation and performance, including our rehab suite and equine performance arena, where specialized therapies, equipment, and evaluations help animals recover from injury and return to peak function.
