Chances are the New Media Institute looks a little different than when you first walked through its doors. Time and technology tend to have that effect, but more importantly, YOU have had that effect. During your time at the NMI, we pushed you to build things and break things, to fail fast and to figure it out. And in return, your boundless energy, unconventional ideas and unwavering enthusiasm have challenged us to make things work day after day.

But now, it's time to look ahead. We don't quite know what the future of the NMI looks like, but we do know we need your help to make it work better.

We need a penny from you. Actually, 563 pennies—one penny for each NMI student this semester. That's 5.63, and we need it each month. Think about it: that's less than your Netflix subscription or your tab at happy hour—it's even less than your daily fix of Jittery Joe's.

SLAM is quickly approaching and your days as an NMI student are numbered. But as you join the ranks of our NMI Alumni, we ask you to commit to something more: become an NMI Fundster.
