Fifty years ago, the first class of Foundation Fellows enrolled at the University of Georgia establishing a legacy of academic excellence. The Foundation Fellowship Distinguished Visiting Scholar Fund will honor and strengthen this legacy. Invited speakers will be intellectuals of national and/or international standing whose work addresses issues of current interest or major importance to the world, and whose appearance at the University will have broad appeal across the University and the greater community.
