The University of Georgia Department of Aerospace Studies and Air Force ROTC program, founded in 1949, is home to Detachment 160, known as the Flying Bulldogs. Our mission is to develop the next generation of Air Force and Space Force officers through leadership training, critical thinking, and the cultivation of lifelong relationships that pave the way for successful careers in national defense.
As alumni and supporters, you play a vital role in the continued success of our program. Contributions to the Flying Bulldogs Student Support Fund help cover essential expenses beyond our regular budget, such as maintaining our flight simulator, renting venues for key events, purchasing fitness equipment, and providing scholarships to recognize cadet excellence.
We sincerely thank you for considering a donation and for your ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of military leaders.
