Jonah Elliot Clark (2007-2022) was a son, brother, grandchild, cousin, nephew, friend, and passionate Dawg fan. He enjoyed spending time with family, running on campus, attending UGA athletic events, video games, and using his endless creativity to enrich the lives of others. More than anything else, Jonah possessed a gentle and kind soul that had the incredible ability to make everyone around him smile widely and laugh loudly. He applied his genuinely infectious, positive attitude to every activity in which he participated - he simply loved life. To spend time with Jonah was to be reminded of the best parts of all of us, and those of us lucky enough to experience him will forever be grateful for that opportunity.
Jonah will be deeply missed by all that knew him, but his legacy of love, kindness, and positivity ("no bad vibes" was his catchphrase) will continue on through this scholarship… and it will be the light that remains for others who didn’t know him, so that they may see him, too. This memorial scholarship perfectly captures Jonah's selfless nature and his fierce loyalty to the University of Georgia by simultaneously helping future students and giving back to the institution he knew and loved.
