The Michael J. Bryan Bulldog 100 Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Michael Bryan in recognition to his commitment to the University of Georgia and the UGA Alumni Association's Bulldog 100 program. Bulldog 100 recognizes the fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni. Michael was recognized at the Bulldog 100 Celebration for Atlanta Wine School/Vino Venue since the program's inception in 2010 making him the only graduate to have received the award every year from 2010 to 2017.
Michael James Bryan sadly passed away from cancer on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Michael was a graduate of the University of Georgia in 1989 and member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He worked in sales at MCI, owned his own staffing company and most recently founded the Atlanta Wine School and Vino Venue. Michael was a light in the community and a devoted citizen; the impact of his leadership will leave a lasting legacy.
Please join Michael's family and the UGA Alumni Association Board of Directors in supporting this scholarship so Michael's Bulldog 100 legacy can live on.
Once endowed, The Michael J. Bryan Scholarship fund will support a need-based scholarship that will go to a UGA student who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit. The scholarship recipient will be stewarded by the Office of Alumni Relations and will be invited to attend the annual Bulldog 100 Celebration.
